(Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)Ohio State hosts No. 25 Michigan State this weekend in what will serve as the No. 4 Buckeyes’ first game against a ranked opponent this year. The Buckeyes are favored by 20 points heading into this one and have steamrolled the competition while racing out to a 5-0 start. They’ve scored at least 42 points in each of their wins, and have allowed a grand total of 43 points all year.Among the many analysts releasing predictions for the game is Ralph D. Russo of the Associated Press. While Russo recognized that Ohio State has proven susceptible to a mid-season upset, he doesn’t expect one to come this week.In his weekly predictions piece for AP News, Russo predicted a three-score victory for the Buckeyes. Can the Spartans be more than a speed bump for the Buckeye Express? … OHIO STATE 35-17.The last time Michigan State beat the Buckeyes was in 2015 – and that win just so happened to take place in Columbus. In fact, Michigan State has won two of their last three games at Buckeye Stadium. Both of those wins came by a field goal.If the Spartans are going to even have a chance of upsetting the Buckeyes, Mark Dantonio will need to put together one hell of a defensive game plan. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. EST and will air on FOX.last_img
