Rob Apodaca POLITICAL News:SANTA FE – Today, Democrat Rob Apodaca announced that he is suspending his bid for Congress in New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District. He made the following statement:“I very much want to thank my family, friends and supporters for all of their encouragement over the past few months. I decided to run for Congress with one goal in mind – to help the people and our communities of northern New Mexico. I love this state and I especially love this district. It has been an honor to be supported by the many people who have stood behind me and I owe so much to them and the people of this district. I had hoped that my work would continue in Congress, but unfortunately that cannot happen at this time.“One of the most sacred and core beliefs that is shared by much of the 3rd District is that family should be valued above all else. With my brother Benjie recently passing, now is a time that my family must come first. I have every intention of continuing to work with the communities of the north and look forward to continued engagement throughout the State. Together, we will work to ensure that our communities prosper and that our core values of hard work, family first and thriving communities remains intact for our children and for generations to come.”
